France full-back Dulin to retire at end of season
France international full-back Brice Dulin, who won two Champions Cup titles with La Rochelle, announced on Thursday that he would be retiring from professional rugby at the end of the season in June.
The 35-year-old played 37 times for France, making his debut against Argentina in 2012.
He also featured in the 2015 World Cup, playing on the wing in the 62-13 thrashing by New Zealand in the quarter-finals.
His club career began at Agen but he went on to play for Castres and Racing 92, winning the Top 14 championship once with each, before joining La Rochelle in 2020.
"It's time to make way for the youngsters," said Dulin in his announcement.
Dulin is set to return from injury in La Rochelle's Top 14 match at home to Bayonne on Saturday.
La Rochelle, who are coached by former Ireland fly-half Ronan O'Gara, are 0th in the table and in danger of missing out on the play-offs for which the top six qualify.
